Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create a ShopMate account. Keep account credentials secure, provide accurate eligibility information, and notify support if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Community information is not guaranteed

Product, store, price, availability, review, and correction information may come from community observations or third-party providers. It may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. ShopMate does not guarantee a saving, route, inventory level, or price. Confirm important information with the store before purchasing or traveling.

Your contributions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant JV Technologies LLC a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, adapt for formatting, and display the contribution as needed to operate, secure, and improve ShopMate.

Submit only information you have the right to provide. Do not include unnecessary personal, payment, health, or confidential information in public content.

Prohibited conduct and content

You may not use ShopMate to:

• Post illegal, fraudulent, threatening, hateful, obscene, sexually exploitative, or harassing content.
• Impersonate another person or submit deceptive price, product, store, or review information.
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Publish another person's sensitive or identifying information without authorization.
• Spam, automate abusive access, interfere with security, scrape contrary to law, or disrupt the service.

Moderation and enforcement

ShopMate may review reports, remove or restrict content, limit contribution privileges, suspend or terminate accounts, and preserve relevant nonpublic records when reasonably needed to enforce these terms, protect users, prevent abuse, respond to disputes, or comply with law. Use the in-app report action or contact support to report a concern.

Optional permissions and third-party services

Camera, photo-picker, location, biometric, and device-credential features are used only for the actions described in the app and Privacy Policy. ShopMate may rely on Firebase, Google identity, Google Places, and OpenStreetMap Overpass for applicable features. Third-party services may have separate terms and policies.

No paid plan or advertising promise

This Android release has no Google Play Billing subscriptions or paid in-app products and contains no third-party ads. If a future release adds a paid feature, it will present the applicable price and terms before purchase and update these documents when necessary.

Service changes and availability

ShopMate features may change, pause, or stop, and network-backed features may be unavailable. We may update these terms by posting a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShopMate is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or uninterrupted availability. ShopMate is an informational shopping tool, not financial, legal, medical, or safety advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JV Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or losses caused by reliance on community or provider information. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Account deletion and termination

You may delete an account through ShopMate Settings or follow the public account-deletion instructions. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, security risk, abuse, or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
