SquareQuote is designed for contractors and owner-operators who buy materials, track supplier receipts, add markup, create quote PDFs, and need cleaner records for monthly accounting review.

What SquareQuote does not do

  • No claim that the app replaces quote review, bookkeeping review, or tax advice.

Privacy and local-first positioning

SquareQuote is built around a local-first model. Receipt content and business records remain on the device, and exports are generated only when the user chooses to create or share them. Android's bundled ML Kit may send limited service telemetry to Google. On iOS and Android, eligible Free users can choose Google Mobile Ads rewarded ads for bonus quote publications. Receipt images, customer information, quote contents, and PDFs are not sent to the ad provider. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Plans and subscriptions

iOS subscriptions use Apple in-app purchase through StoreKit. Android subscriptions use Google Play Billing when products are configured. Final prices come from the applicable store.

  • The iOS and Android Free plans include three watermarked quote publications.
  • After those three, users may unlock up to 12 bonus watermarked quotes by completing exactly two separately confirmed rewarded ads per bonus quote.
  • Every Free and ad-earned PDF displays Created with SquareQuote.
  • Paid plans provide unlimited quotes with no rewarded ads and no SquareQuote watermark.
  • iOS includes StoreKit purchase and Restore Purchases support.
  • Android includes Refresh/Restore Purchases and Google Play subscription management.
  • No external payment path bypasses Apple or Google for in-app subscriptions.

Where is SquareQuote currently available?

Does SquareQuote send receipt OCR to a cloud service?

Receipt recognition uses Apple Vision on iOS and bundled on-device ML Kit on Android, not a cloud OCR pipeline. ML Kit may send limited service telemetry to Google, but not receipt images or recognized text.

What exports does SquareQuote prepare?

SquareQuote is designed to generate client quote PDFs and monthly CPA export packages for accounting review.

How do Free quotes and rewarded ads work?

The iOS and Android Free plans include three watermarked quote publications. After those are used, an eligible user can choose to complete two rewarded ads—each accepted separately—to unlock one bonus watermarked publication, up to 12 bonuses. Before each ad, the user can upgrade, watch the ad, or leave without watching. Paid plans are unlimited, ad-free, and do not add the SquareQuote watermark.
