Terms of Use

These terms describe the current SquareQuote product model, including the Free-plan and optional rewarded-ad quote allowance, Apple and Google Play subscription billing, and the user’s responsibility to review quote outputs, OCR results, markup choices, and accounting exports before using or sharing them.

App use

SquareQuote is a contractor workflow tool for receipt scanning, OCR review, markup calculation, quote generation, PDF export, and related local recordkeeping tasks.

  • Users are responsible for the information they enter, edit, review, and export.
  • Users must review OCR output, line items, markup choices, and quote totals before use.
  • SquareQuote may evolve over time.
  • Do not use SquareQuote to create misleading, unlawful, or unauthorized quotes or records.

Free and rewarded quotes

The iOS and Android Free plans include three watermarked quote publications. A quote is counted when its first customer-ready PDF is successfully published; editing or re-exporting that same quote record does not consume another quote, while creating or duplicating a separate quote record can do so.

  • After the included three, a user may unlock up to 12 bonus watermarked quotes.
  • Each bonus quote requires exactly two rewarded ads, with a separate opt-in confirmation before each ad.
  • Only a completed ad for which the ad provider reports the reward counts; an incomplete, unavailable, or failed ad does not count.
  • One-of-two progress is retained locally if the user stops before completing the second ad.
  • Every Free and ad-earned PDF displays Created with SquareQuote.
  • Rewarded ads and bonus quote availability are not guaranteed and may depend on region, privacy choices, device settings, and ad inventory.
  • Free quote and rewarded-ad progress has no cash value and is not transferable.

Subscriptions and billing

iOS plans are sold through Apple in-app purchase using StoreKit. Android plans use Google Play Billing when products are configured. Pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling are subject to the applicable store’s systems and policies.

  • iOS charges use the user’s Apple Account through StoreKit.
  • Android charges use the Google Account associated with Google Play.
  • Users manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple or Google Play subscription settings.
  • iOS includes Restore Purchases; Android includes Refresh/Restore Purchases for entitlements tied to the same store account.
  • JV Technologies LLC does not process external payments that bypass the applicable app store.
  • While active and recognized by the app, paid plans provide unlimited quotes with no rewarded ads and no SquareQuote watermark.

Advertising and third-party services

Optional rewarded ads are limited to eligible Free-plan bonus quote publications on iOS and Android. Before each ad, the user may instead choose to upgrade or leave without watching. Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform operate under Google’s terms and privacy practices. SquareQuote’s handling of ad-related data and privacy choices is described in the Privacy Policy.

On iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission is requested before Google may use the device identifier for tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. The user may decline without losing SquareQuote functionality or eligibility for a rewarded publication.

Local records, deletion, and exports

SquareQuote stores business records locally and lets users delete individual records or clear local app data. Users are responsible for retaining any records they need before deletion and for deleting copies they previously exported or shared to destinations outside SquareQuote.

Clear local data or reinstalling the app may reset the locally enforced unique-quote publication ledger and rewarded-ad completion progress on that device. SquareQuote does not currently sync these counters to an account backend.

No guarantee of business outcome

SquareQuote is a productivity tool. It does not guarantee revenue, profit, contract acceptance, tax compliance, or legal compliance for any quote or job.

  • SquareQuote does not provide tax advice, legal advice, or accounting advice.
  • Users remain responsible for business judgment, pricing strategy, taxes, and regulatory compliance.
  • CPA exports are informational and should be reviewed by the user or the user’s accountant.

Limitation of liability and support

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SquareQuote is provided as a productivity tool and JV Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-loss damages arising from use of the app. For support questions, subscription issues, or app workflow questions, contact juan@jvtechnologiesllc.com.
